The Old Dairy was a perfect place for 2 adults and 2 children. There was plenty of space and it had everything we needed for our 3 night stay. It is in a beautiful setting next to a stream and it's easy access to Ambleside and Hawkeshead by car....

Company information

We, Suzy and Phil, live in the main farmhouse with our 3 children, 3 dogs and 3 cats. We have lived here for over 10 years during which Phil has lovingly renovated Sunny Brow's barns from cattle sheds and storage to beautiful accommodation.

Property information

THE OLD DAIRY at Sunny Brow Farm is surrounded by beautiful English countryside, situated in heart of the South Lake District National Park, Cumbria. We have lovingly renovated our slate built 1800's Lakeland barns into stylish self catered accommodation.

Neighbourhood information

Our surrounding area is great woodlands, forests, lakes, tarns, Fells, dales and rivers. There is something for everyone. The beauty and excitement of the Lake District National Park is quite literally on your doorstep. With Windermere, Coniston, Ambleside and Hawkshead all a short car journey (you can walk there too) from Sunny Brow Farm, and Tarn Hows and the very well know ‘Drucken Duck Inn’ a short hike away. This is a great location for any holiday stay. Relax into our 33 acres of woodland with many varieties of native trees, including oak, hazel, hawthorn, silver birch. Walk up Limestone beck, enjoy views of Esthwaite Water, spot birds, badgers and deer, build a den or explore edible plants. We feel blessed to live here and blessed to share with guests coming to stay here in this lovely part of the world.
