The Old Forge has been in the same family since 1986. A small beautiful country B&B in a 18th century old Wheelwrights Forge full of character and history. Come and experience the slower pace of life in an idyllic setting!
The Old Forge has always been my family home, and I feel so lucky to now live here once again with my family and children Iris and Woody. We can’t wait to welcome you to our home so we can share it with you, The Old Forge is truly a wonderful and special place.
The Old Forge is situated nestled in the hills in the beautiful village of Compton Abbas in the Cranbourne Chase, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Only a 10 minute drive to Shaftesbury, and 45 minutes to the famous Jurassic Coast.
