Relax with the whole family in this peaceful Dartmoor home. Cosy up in front of the log burner, walk the dog by the river, explore the local tors and finish with a leisurely meal at a choice of fabulous venues or back at the house. Nestled inside the National Park, The Old Post House is set in a wonderful, peaceful location. Dog & child friendly.
I look forward to welcoming you to this gorgeous part of the world! It has been a joy to grow up in the South-West and raise my own family in this pocket of peace. I invite you to ask me about anything which would improve your stay while you are here :) We understand that guests will all have their own idea of 'peace and quiet'. Following reservation, you will have the opportunity to share your communication preferences. You will enjoy a comfortable stay with all the information you may need provided in the house guidebook. Should you require further information or guidance, we can arrange additional photographs or written instructions, remote assistance or extra time in person.
Rural village setting in Dartmoor National Park just 5 mins drive to picturesque Tavistock 2 minute walk from a lovely country pub. The Peter Tavy Inn has a fantastic menu and is very popular for lunch and dinner so it is advisable to book a table.
