The kite shack- is at the Old Printworks a former printing workshop located in the middle of Littlehampton close by to the station and near to the beaches, river and shops. The property was recently renovated by the owner who is an artist and designer. The kite shack is a quirky studio with lots of character. It has been rebuilt and refurbished to a high standard. There is lots of insulation in the walls and underneath the polished concrete floor. The kingsize bed is up on the mezzanine accessed via a ladder and a small double on the sofa bed in the main living area. The hot water is made on demand using electricity sourced from a 100% green tarif. The shower is electric and the 2 taps are in line water heaters. There is no gas at used in the property. Heating is provided using electric radiators in the shower room and main living space. The Kits shack is extremely well insulated- cool in the summer and warm in the winter using minimal heating. The floor is polished concrete and some recycled timber used on the wall was salvaged from the roof and are as old as the building. The striking end wall is crafted from beech plywood
The host is an artist blacksmith and designer who makes stuff for a living. He likes being outside in Littlehamotion either exploring the local countryside or kitesurfing at east beach or west beach
Littlehampton is a quiet seaside town on the south coast famed for its small chilled out nature. Theres not much going on in Town nightlife wise- it's quiet and chilled. Theres great kitesurfing and a lots to see and do in west Sussex and we're close to Goodwood and lots of sights
