This beautiful property has a private and gated drive, set back from the main road between Laugharne (4 mins by car) and Pendine (3 mins by car). A spacious and airy lounge with the impressive vaulted ceilings which provide that romantic castle feel. Along with the sympathetic ambient lighting, the huge log burner is the real cherry on the cake, creating those relaxed evenings. The raised open plan dining room is light and airy for the Summer evenings, and equally cosy for those winter nights. There is a bespoke country style kitchen with a range oven, all the mod cons, and well stocked cupboards. This leads to a lovely and relaxing Sun/breakfast room with table and chairs and sofa, leading to a small courtyard and external utility room. The stunning spiral staircase leads to a mezzanine hallway to the bedrooms and bathroom. You are assured of a great nights sleep in your boutique style bedrooms, all beds come with world famous Hypnos Mattresses (“the worlds most comfortable mattress”), which are dressed with the finest Egyptian Cotton sheets and duvets. Laugharne is perhaps best known for its associations with Wales' most famous poet, Dylan Thomas, however, there is much more to Laugharne than just Dylan Thomas. Laugharne is a small town sitting on the estuary of the Taf River and offers stunning estuary walks, including the infamous Dylan Thomas Birthday Walk. There are also plenty of woodland walks and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path starts nearby. It is an ancient town steeped in history, and a popular tourist destination with many great attractions in the area. With its easy accessibility to the M4, and prime location, also makes it a great base to visit Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire. The Boathouse, where Dylan and Caitlin lived with their children, is now a heritage centre. Overlooking the estuary are the dramatic ruins of a Norman Castle, a popular visitor attraction. Laugharne has a good choice of cafes and restaurants. There are also a good choice of outdoor activities available in the area, ranging from horse riding, coasteering, to a variety of water sports, abseiling, orienteering, caving and gorge walking.
