The Ox House is a converted milking parlor that has been lovingly restored to a high-quality. Self-contained with a large kitchen, dining area, lounge with log burner and comfortable beds, you couldn't possibly wish for more. We offer a variety of amenities to make your stay with us as comfortable as possible. We are a family-run smallholding with alpacas, dogs, sheep, and chickens and are able to offer advice, guides, and ideas on where to go and what to see during your stay in Somerset.
The village of Chewton Mendip has a lovely village pub that offers local beer and great food. There is also a coffee shop where you can have lunch or buy a few essentials. We are only 6 miles from the City of Wells where you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
