My husband has lived in the village since he was born and I joined him when we married in 1989. We live here with our dogs Todd & Dexter, our horses, Steve the goat and several chicken who supply us with fresh eggs each day. We recently converted the barn into the home of our dreams and absolutely love it, we hope you do too! East Stoke is a small village in the Isle of Purbeck, located close to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and the historic Saxon walled town of Wareham. Both The Tank Museum and Monkey World are just five minutes drive away. The neighbouring village of Wool boasts two pubs, a good size Spar, butchers, bakery, delicatessen, hairdresser, chemist etc and has a main line train station to London/Waterloo. The larger resort towns of Swanage, Poole, Dorchester and Weymouth are within easy reach by car. The fabulous white, sandy National Trust beach of Studland is about thirty minutes drive away. The beautiful World Heritage Jurassic Coastline is just a ten minute drive away.
