The Potting Shed is a beautifully restored 19th Century Hay Barn set on the historic grounds of Mathern Palace, a Grade I listed property dating back to 1408 and notable for its restoration by Henry Avray Tipping in 1875. A village pub is within walking distance, and there are plenty of footpaths to explore the beautiful outdoors. The Potting Shed is a modern and comfortable retreat, ideal for exploring the Welsh countryside and in close proximity to Bristol.
- The Potting Shed has been lovingly renovated for a modern and comfortable country retreat set in the grounds of an idyllic historic palace.
- The cottage has been designed with large open plan kitchen diner with breakfast bar and dining table that comfortably seats 4. Off the kitchen is a separate lounge and TV area to sit comfortably and relax.
- The Potting Shed is located next door to an identical cottage, Gardener's Cottage, also available to rent and both cottages share the garden.
The cottages are on the grounds of Mathern Palace, a private property. The owners kindly ask you respect their privacy and palace boundaries. Maps are provided.
