The Boathouse is a very cute cabin on the side of the beautiful pond in our family run organic egg farm and summer campsite.
It is totally private with its own car park and entrance, and is an adult only cabin. It is a beautiful space to to just relax and unwind and watch the fish swim past, and watch the birds. During the summer there is food drink and events on the farm to enjoy, we are a short walk away from the beautiful village of Ditchling and only 10 minutes to Brighton on the train from Hassocks station, or 45 minutes into London Victoria. Enjoy all the South Downs National Park has to offer and take a walk to the top of the Beacon for the best views of Sussex.
Hello my name is Susannah, I run our family farm with my husband Danny and our family also live on the farm. During the summer we run a busy campsite and we have also have events on the farm too.
This is a working farm so you can meet the chickens and buy fresh organic free range eggs from our egg shack.
The Retreat is in the beautiful village of Ditchling, there are two lovely pubs and two great coffee/tea shops. There are stunning walks up to the Beacon for views across Sussex and great vineyards to visit as well of lots of pub walks to neighbouring villages. Brighton is only 10 mins on the train or London 45 mins on the train.
