Walkers love this area and there are sandy beaches just a few miles away. It makes a great base from which to explore the area, with the Welsh Mountain Zoo at Colwyn Bay, the Victorian seaside resort of Llandudno and historic Conwy with its castle within easy reach, whilst in the other direction the city of Chester makes for a great day out.
