My Name is Ruth Macallan and my husband, Ian, and I manage two wonderful properties in Scotland. We are keen conservationists and travellers and work with a number of charities in Zambia. We really like to stay in places that are slightly off the beaten track, and love to find hidden gems!

Property information

Contemporary luxury in the grounds of Carphin Estate. Able to sleep 10 guests comfortably, with 5 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, hot tub and ping pong table, the Stables enjoys arguably even better views than the main house! An additional yoga studio provides a great extra space, or enjoy some meditative relaxation, taking in the woodland views.

Neighbourhood information

Set within the beautiful grounds of Carphin Estate. You have your own private area, distinct from the main house, and only share an access road. Great walks in rural setting
