Enjoy heartfelt hospitality at this stylish, centrally-located, historic building in England's smallest city. The Sun Inn is a historic building in the heart of Wells with 2 en-suite rooms on the first floor. The Blue Room (2 single beds) and the Green Room (1 king size bed) that can be booked individually or together. The rooms are not connected, so they are not suitable for families with very young children unless an adult sleeps in the same room with them. There is a fridge and complimentary coffee/tea in each room and a microwave oven plates, cutlery etc in a shared area. Your ensuite room is located above the only Greek restaurant in the area. If you decide to eat at the restaurant please book online quoting your reservation number and name, and you will be offered a welcome drink on us. The bedrooms can comfortably sleep 2 guests. There are ensuite bathrooms in both rooms with hot water, towels and showers. In your room you will find a small fridge/freezer, kettle, coffee, tea and little treats on your arrival. There is also an honesty bar in the double room (the Green Room), so you can enjoy a drink anytime.

The Sun Inn is a very old building dating back to 1337. We love living here and we hope that you will feel at home too. You will be right in the centre of Wells, which is the smallest city in England. The famous Wells Cathedral and the Bishops Palace are all within walking distance and well worth a visit. You can easily walk to the high street, full of shops, restaurant and cafes. Although we are right in the middle of the city, we are on a quiet little street, blessed with lovely neighbours. You can easily drive to Cornwall, Bath, Bristol, Cheddar and Glastonbury. We are happy to provide information on local destinations during your stay.
