Stylish, pet-friendly studio with stunning elevated, south-facing sea views. Spacious & bright, super-king or twin beds; your own kitchenette, shower, lounge, plus a sun terrace with loungers & table and chairs. Perfect for a peaceful coastal escape! Paid parking nearby (steps from road & to beach/restaurants). No TV, but WiFi & Bluetooth speaker keep you connected & entertained. A few mins walk from beach and amenities so relax, unwind and soak in the sea breeze in this calm, stylish space. The View at Rosebank is an elevated cabin/studio with a large private terrace (private, save for owner passing by to access cars and top terrace). The host has a couple of super friendly Italian Spinone's who are uber nosey. Chris will keep the lower gate shut so they do not disturb you! The studio itself has beds one end, a small lounge area in the middle and a kitchenette and shower room at the other end. Patio doors lead to your sun terrace with sea view. Important to note - the shower is electric, with hot/cold water, and the kitchen has hot/cold water... unfortunately, the small sink in the bathroom only has cold water. Paid parking (between end of April and end of October) is close by, down numerous stairs (or via the slightly longer sloped road). Whilst certainly not a luxury 5 star hotel room, it is very comfortable and stylish, and we hope that we have thought of most things to enhance your stay. Please give the owner a yell if he can help make things even more comfortable. Please note that cooking facilities are limited to a double induction hob, a microwave, kettle and toaster. No actual dining table, but there is a table outside and also comfortable lap trays. A small amenity kit of kitchen essentials will be provided, so your first tea/coffee and toast is on us! Towels are provided for inside use, so please just bring your own beach towels.
Hi, I’m Chris (CC), your sea-loving, dog-herding, parrot training (!), event-planning host. When not wrangling furry/feathered friends or organising fun, I’m kayaking, walking, yoga-ing (sometimes), or sipping red wine on the beach with friends. I take hosting seriously but believe a little cheek and charm can make a stay better. Welcome to my seaside slice of paradise - where waves roll in, pups run wild, and shenanigans never stop! Lastly, this is a (proudly) gay owned establishment, and Chris welcomes everyone - gay, straight, or not sure yet...
You are coming to THE BEST part of Cornwall. Locally we have the beach (closer than the 400 yards detailed). Unfortunately, we are limited in terms of being accessible/mobility-friendly due to lots of steps around the whole village (including some steps down to your accommodation). Your accommodation is pet-friendly, and is very well cleaned between guests. We would ask that you keep your dogs off the bed and sofa, but... we all know that won't always be observed, so please bring your own throws to protect the furniture. This is a super relaxed environment, the whole village is - and the owner would be delighted to make recommendations on places to visit in order for you to get the most out of your stay. So don't be afraid to engage with Chris... he doesn't bite! Locally, there is a very long, dog-friendly shingle/sand beach, which welcomes naturists towards the far east end. Chris will be happy to clarify where you should, and more importantly, where you shouldn't sunbathe nude. Tides are a big feature in this part of Cornwall, so please be 'tide aware', so you don't have to sit it out on a rock for 6 hours! You have a pub that sells food, a wine and tapas bar, a veggie café, all within a couple of minute's walk. And about 10 minute's walk, you have another pub and restaurant in nearby Seaton.
