Situated in Tenterden historic High Street, The White Lion offers a traditional pub and restaurant, along with free WiFi throughout and free private parking. The town is on the edge of Weald, overlooking the valley of the Rother River. All of the en-suite rooms, which includes both Family and Superior rooms, feature flat screen TVs with Freeview channels, hairdryers, Nespresso coffee machine, bathrobes and luxurious beds and bed linen. Guests can also make use of the function and conference facilities in The Saddlery, along with complimentary WiFi. The restaurant, serves quality fresh food sourced from the best suppliers, while the pub features live music on some weekends. There is also a large terrace area for guests to relax in. The White Lion is in central Tenterden, which is home to a selection of antique and boutique shops. The Kent and East Sussex Railway Station is just 5 minutes’ walk from The White Lion and offers links to the small village of Bodiam. The Chapel Down vineyard is just a 10-minute drive away.
