The hotel is in 15 acres of grounds, with lawns up to the shores of Lake Ullswater. The Inn On The Lake offers stylish en suite rooms with freeview TV, free WiFi and tea/coffee facilities. Some rooms have striking mountain and lake views. The Ramblers Bar and Candleroom serves real ales and food. The Orangery offers panoramic views of the lake, grounds and surrounding fells where you can enjoy afternoon tea. Set in the Lake District, Inn on the Lake offers a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course, and 3 private jetties.

From October 2nd to November 30th, we are redeveloping some of our bedrooms at the hotel. Please note, during this period there will be extensive works going on in one area of the hotel, however this will be limited to daytime hours, so disruption will be kept to a minimum.
