Sitting in the shadows of Ely Cathedral, Lamb Hotel dates back to the 15th century and retains its atmosphere as a thriving coaching inn. The Lamb boasts 31 comfortable en-suite rooms. Meals and drinks are served all day in the bar and restaurant. Traditional beers, wines, spirits and teas and coffees are available. The Lamb Hotel's history dates back to the time of King Richard II. Ely has old streets and medieval gateways, timbered houses and parkland stretching down to the River Great Ouse. Cambridge is nearby, and Newmarket, famous for horse racing, is 19 km away.
