About this property
Situated on the High Street, this grade II listed hotel, a former coaching inn has free Wi-Fi and private parking. The Star Hotel Just 450 metres from West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton Central Train Station is less than a mile away. The Star Hotel is in a historical part of Southampton, about 650 metres from Southampton Port, with ferries to the Isle of Wight and cruise ship terminals. Bedrooms have a TV, telephone, and tea and coffee-making facilities. They also have a historical connection, as the Royal Family visited in the 1800s. Most rooms are en suite, and some have a four-poster bed. Guests can relax in the Lounge Bar, which offers a selection of cocktails and wines. There is a 24-hour front desk, and a range of function rooms available.

The fine print
Please note that the car park at The Star Hotel has a limited capacity and operates on a first-come, first-served basis, at a cost of GBP 6 per day for cars and GBP 8 for vans. Due to the style of the building, there are narrow and steep stairs leading to the rooms, which may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility.
