Townend Barn is an elegant single storey cottage in the heart of the pretty village of Lydford. The cottage sleeps two people in one double bedroom with a shower room. The living area is open plan with a sitting area, wood burning stove and fully tuned Steinway piano, a smart kitchen and dining area. Outside is a lawned garden with outdoor furniture and parking for one car. In the heart of the village with two good pubs and farm shop, Townend Barn is a smashing retreat for couples to enjoy a Devon break. Please note there is a charge of 10 for a 2nd dog. Note: This property has a refundable Good Housekeeping bond of 100Note: Guests will be required to log in to their own account for any streaming services on the TV.

Neighbourhood information

Nestling among mature woodland on the western slopes of Dartmoor, the historic village of Lydford is a jewel in this area of outstanding scenic beauty. To the north, just half a mile away, the high tors come right down to the village edge, while to the south the River Lyd winds its way through Lydford Forest on its tumbling course northwards.
