Elliott Terrace cottages are in the heart of Wark a small village along the North Tyne. The cottage is ideally suited to explore Hadrian's Wall, Kilder Forest and the Northumberland National Park. There are also beautiful walks just around the village itself. The cottage is only 200m form the village shop and a 2 min walk to the pub and local restaurant 'The Battlestead' with many green credentials. We have tried to keep the cottage in keeping of the time it would have been lived in as a row of workers cottages (beware the bathroom as in all of these cottages is downstairs, the bedroom upstairs). The bedroom and sitting room are generously sized with a high ceiling and a new woodburner. There is a TV and good internet connection. The bed is generous (extra large kingsize) and very comfortable. There is a small garden and outdoor patio. We are very pet friendly and you will see so is the whole of Wark.
I lived in Northumberland for many years but when work took me down south I decided to keep a bolthole in this beautiful county, which we are now sharing with you
