The living space in this home consists of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, and dishwasher, a sitting room with a selection of books, TV with Sky Glass, and a gas fire, and an external utility with washer/dryer. The bedrooms consist of two double, and a single, serviced by a shower room and a cloakroom. Outside there is an enclosed rear garden with lawn, patio and furniture, and designated parking for two cars. This is a pet-free and smoke-free property. Travel cot available on request. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop and Peakshole Water in 0.1 miles, and a pub in 0.2 miles. Trickett Gate Cottage is a delightful base for a Derbyshire escape. Note: There are steps in the garden. Note: There is a stream behind the garden; please ensure children are supervised at all times. Castleton, a village in the Peak District, is breathtakingly beautiful and sits at the head of the Hope Valley, right next to some excellent hiking terrain. Rich in intriguing history, the community is home to the Norman Peverill Castle Keep, which has a commanding vantage point and keeps watch over both the National Park and the settlement. The settlement is popular with hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts who want to follow the trails, ascend the Winnats Pass, or try caving. The stunning semi-precious stone Blue John, which can only be found and mined in Castleton, is recognised across the world for its tourist caves. Castleton has a fantastic selection of unique little gift stores, pubs, tea rooms, and a fantastic tourist centre with a small museum illustrating life in the Hope Valley.
