The house was built in the Georgian period, it is Grade 2 listed and in a conservation zone. The property has been recently renovated. Guest accommodation is on the first floor. The Breakfast room is also on the first floor with facilities for Guests to make tea or coffee throughout the day. The property is a 15 minute walk to Margate train station.
I thoroughly enjoy living on the Kent coast and the buzz about Margate, and would like to welcome guests to come and experience the delights of a few days by the sea! Even a couple of days away can leave one refreshed and feeling like you have had a total break, no matter what time of the year
The house is situated on Trinity Square which is a stones throw to Margate Old Town. The house is ideally situated for visiting Margate attractions - The Margate Caves, The Old Tudor House, Turner Gallery, Carl Freedman Gallery, Margate Sands for a dip or the tidal pool if you prefer - to name but a few. There are good coastal walks, and cycle paths also. The Old Town has a good selection of restaurants, eateries, bars and coffee shops.
