We loved staying with Sandra, Martin and Nellie. They were full of information about things to see and do, as well as the local area, which was interesting! Great walk to the beach, look out point and back!

Tudor Cottage is a special place to visit. We are in the Exmoor National park which is brilliant for walking or just visiting the wonderful chocolate box villages that surround us. The cottage is over 500 years old but has everything you need for your stay with us. The garden is a great place to sit with a glass of wine or beer with our views to Dunkery Beacon.
We moved into Tudor Cottage at the end of Sept 2016. We had lived in the local area since 2011 managing Lynch house a large country house just a short walk away in the hamlet of Lynch. when the owners sadly retired, we decided we wanted to stay in this beautiful part of the Exmoor countryside. We moved into Tudor Cottage in Oct 2016. and welcomed a full house of guests on the first night! We have 3 children and 5 grandchildren and are also great grandparents. who all live in our home town of Bristol. We are both involved in village life, and have good knowledge of the local area, which we love sharing with our guests so that they too can enjoy their Exmoor experience. We want our guests to enjoy Tudor Cottage and its lovely surroundings.
There are too many things on offer in the area to mention but they include walking and horse riding. A trip on to the moor to see the Exmoor ponies and hopefully deer is a must. You can go on one of the safaris on offer or do your own thing and we are always on hand to suggest where to go. There are some lovely pubs around the area and Porlock and Porlock weir are well worth visiting. Selworthy with it's beautiful church and view is a must. The village green in Selworthy could easily adorn any picture postcard or chocolate box. The stony beach and sea is just a 10 minute walk and we are just a few yards from the South West Coast Path.
