Ty Madog is part of an old farmhouse. It's 'just off the beaten track' and surrounded by beautiful countryside. You will be a few minutes walk from the stunning Padarn Lake and a lakeside walk or cycle from bustling Llanberis and the heart of Snowdonia. There is private parking and a garden area for guests as well as locked storage for bikes. This is the perfect base for your Eryri / Snowdonia adventures.
We have three rooms available. The guests of our three rooms share access to a bathroom, a cloakroom, a living room, a kitchen and dining room and the outdoor garden area. We provide a very simple self-serve continental breakfast.
We are growers and landscape gardeners. We love to share our beautiful little piece of Snowdonia. We live a happy life here and like other people to have the chance to share that joy.
We are just a few minutes walk outside the lakeside village of Brynrefail and less than 10 minutes drive from Llanberis. This is a fantastic place for lowland or mountain walks, for wild swimming or for visiting the coast and Caernarfon. Llanberis has museums and a railway, the world heritage slate quarries are 15 minutes drive and Zip world is 20 minutes from here.
