Wonderfully serene & perfectly located in the heart of Chelmsford city centre. Enjoy a luxurious stay aboard 'New Horizon'. A newly refurbished & upgraded Horizon 35 cruiser benefiting from a new shower room, well equipped kitchen gas oven, heating, kettle, memory foam mattresses with electric under blanket to the double bedroom & heated throws in the single room & saloon for extra cosiness. Large single in saloon can converted to a double on request. Perfectly located yet peaceful for business , a romantic weekend or a family adventure! It must be noted that there is no walkway on to the boat so there is an at least 50cm-1m step up on to the boat then a 1m step down and another 1m step down on to the front of the boat. It's suitable only for flexible able bodies who can step on and off the boat unaided. There is no wheel chair access, we will press forward with a larger boat with wheelchair access in the future.

The boat, New Horizon is moored just a 5 minute drive or a 15 minute walk from Chelmsford train station. It's a one minute walk from the city's Tesco superstore, Ninja Warrior UK and a 2 minute walk from Chelmsford's bustling bond street which is host to John Lewis, Everyman cinema, 2 art galleries, Foyles book store, Tiptree tea rooms & New Horizon's favourite recommendation for breakfast, Jamaica Blue. Also available Ask, Bills, Prezzo, Giggling Squid, Las Iguanas, Wagamama, Leon, Mowgli street food and more beyond. Chelmsford's landmarks & useful to know Chelmsford Cathedral (11 mins walk) Shire Hall (13 mins walk) New Horizon recommend Turtle Bay for informal hearty lunch/dinner with a Caribbean twist (13 mins walk) Independent eateries along Baddow Road (15 mins walk) Central Park (18 mins walk) Independent shops Moulsham Street (20 mins walk) ARU university (18 mins walk) Chelmsford Museum (28 mins walk) High street market days are Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays
