Enjoy a break in Van-Tastic situated on quiet Suffolk Sands Holiday Park, even a winter break is possible as Van-Tastic has double glassing and central heating, with an electric heater in the lounge. (Swimming pool (not included in the price of van and subject to opening times) and Bar are available on sister site Felixstowe Beach which is 0.8 miles away) . The beach is a 5 minute walk. Beds are made ready for your arrival, towels are provided for you and also enjoy a cup of tea or coffee on us when you arrive. There are also a few games and books for you to enjoy. In the information book in the van you will find a variety of leaflets of places to visit and some menus of takeaways many of which deliver to the park.

Suffolk Sands Holiday Park is a quiet friendly park. It is a 5 minute walk to Beach, the beach is a mix of sand and stones. As Felixstowe is situated between 2 rivers, Deben and Orwell, we benefit from our own Micro-climate, which means most of the time in Summer, better weather. (NOT, Guaranteed 😉) Nearby there are coffee and ice cream Kiosks and restaurants. The children's play park is suitable for all ages also has a picnic benches, water play area, toilet and showers. Fishing is allowed on the beach. You can also take a ride on the Ferris wheel and get a birds eye view of Felixstowe and out to Sea. A nature reserve is next door, take a leisurely walk or suitable for bike riding. Whilst there, visit Languard Fort and or the Museum. There is a restaurant (day time only) sit inside side or out and watch the ships. Felixstowe famous Beach Street is a 10 minute walk along the beach, with Boutiques, restaurants, takeaway, coffee shop ice cream and also a bar. which is open in the evening too. On Sunday there is a Market. Plenty of good Fish and chips shops on the sea front and in town. The town centre, has a small Tesco, Iceland, Sainsbury, several coffee shops and restaurants, it is about a 20 minute walk away along the beach. There is a bus stop next to the holiday park which leaves approximately hourly to Felixstowe Town centre and further afield. There is a train station from Great Eastern Square. Felixstowe is a great place for a stay-cation.
