Our caravan is in a quieter part of the park away from the main road. We chose the spot as there is no through traffic therefore very safe for our grandchildren to play. It is a 5 minute walk to all the amenities including the pub on site and the show bar which hosts many fantastic evenings for all the family. There is an indoor pool on site. The stunning 7 mile beach is amazing offering the hire of paddle boards, kayaks and canoes. The many ice-cream parlours, and eateries including a bistro and two local pubs on the front leave visitors spoilt for choice. The new park and crazy golf area is also a great addition for the children. The award winning Chinese ( Lotus House ) offers outdoor seating with stunning views across the bay and the Speed Museum is always a point of interest. There are a variety of beach shops, supermarkets and a Laundrette also.Pendine is also only a short drive to Amroth, Saundersfoot, Tenby, Laugharne, Carmarthen, Folly Farm, Oakwood and the Dinosaur Park. Our van has a superb area for outdoor living, with its extra large wrap around decking and grass area for a game of boules, tennis, or a dip in the paddling pool etc. There is also a non slip ramp for anyone with mobility issues. The van itself is bright and airy and provides a relaxing area for fun and games together. There is a smart Tv in the living room and master bedroom and also games/ toys available for spending some quality time together. Verns Van has an open plan layout with kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge-freezer, air fryer an is well stocked with crockery and cutlery. There is an iron, ironing board and hairdryer. We have three bedrooms, the master has a double bed and has space for a travel cot if needed. This also has an ensuite with toilet and hand basin. There are two additional single rooms and a double pull out in the lounge. There is a family bathroom with a shower. Entertainment passes would need to be purchased separately at reception at a small charge.

We bought Vern's van a few years ago together with my dad, Vern. Dad has since passed away at the ripe old age of 95 but he enjoyed his time spent there while he could. I am a recently retired Headteacher as is my husband and we have 5 beautiful grandchildren. We help to look after two babies during the week and therefore cannot always get to the van as often as we would like, hence our decision to try renting it out this year. We hope if you decide to book with us you will enjoy Vern's van and the Pendine area as much as we do.

Pendine neighbourhood is safe and friendly. Visitors are always welcomed by the locals and there is always plenty to do on site, in Pendine itself or in the surrounding area. There are many attractions such as Laugharne ( Dylan Thomas birthplace), Amroth, Saundersfoot and Tenby all within a short drive. Cardigan is approx one hour. Folly Farm is a great hit with children and adults providing an excellent day out for all. There are plenty of places to eat, from excellent pub meals in the Springwell ( great Sunday Carvery), The Caban, The Bistro, The Diner as well as a range of beach shops serving tea/ coffee/ snacks etc. The Beach Pub on the front has a great atmosphere and always offers a good welcome.
