An Art Deco building on one of the the famous thoroughfares of Leeds, The Headrow running from the Eastgate to Westgate points of the city centre. Originally an Insurance Office it was converted to apartments in 2001 apart from the 1st floor which was maintained as offices for the Writers Guild of Leeds until being converted to Executive Studios in summer 2015.
Victoria House Apartments Leeds are owned by a variety of investors/investment companies that market their apartments exclusively via Padtonight Ltd which is a specialist letting company. Padtonight Ltd acts as an agent for the property owners also advising them on service delivery to their guests. Although the building is unstaffed with no reception etc. guests are able to receive assistance during their stay via locally based staff. The apartments are non-serviced but housekeeping visit the building most days to attend to the cleaning of communal areas etc. Rates quoted on behalf of owners by Padtonight Ltd do NOT include VAT. Guests wishing to purchase a product that they are able to reclaim VAT should consider alternative properties i.e. Hotels and/or Serviced Apartments that charge rates including VAT. Padtonight Ltd is not able to respond to basic queries pertaining to cleaning and maintenance which should be made directly to the owners locally based support staff. In the event of any dissatisfaction, Padtonight Ltd can intervene to assist.
Where the Civic & Financial quarters meet the shopping and leisure area. The property overlooks Victoria Gardens (the starting point of the Tour de France), the City Library, Art Gallery and Henry Moore Institute. 'The Light' with multi screen cinema, shops and restaurants is across the street. City Hospitals and Universities are all within easy walking distance.
