A beautiful & lovingly converted 18th Century Barn house situated in the heart of the Eden Valley, just 3 miles from the historical market town of Kirkby Stephen. The ground floor of the Barn compromises of a spacious Kitchen-Dining Room, a large Living Room, toilet & a back yard/patio. Upstairs you will be presented with a Mezzanine balcony overlooking the Living Room, Walk-in-Shower, Landing/dressing area & two modest bedrooms sleeping four people. Both bedrooms are double beds You can enjoy a more modern layout & finish than you would expect in this area with modern décor & features.

It's a great place for couples & young families looking for a lovely, peaceful get away & a place to switch off from the demands of day-to-day life. Dogs will love it too :) Upon arrival you will be presented with a Welcome Pack, leaflets & information on the local area as well as a bottle of Prosecco, Tea, Coffee, Sugar.

Just 25mins from The Yorkshire Dales & 30mins from the amazing Lake District, Westwood Barn provides you with the perfect location to give you open access to the best scenery & culture the North of England has to offer. The local villages of Brough Sowerby & Winton are home to some lovely Country Pubs & Kirkby Stephen plays host to a number of Pubs, Cafe's, Bakery's, Restaurants & Take-aways. I highly recommend The Bay Horse in Winton and the black bull at Nateby both serving great local produce & ales. The area surrounding Kirkby Stephen is a fantastic walking country. You can enjoy anything from a pleasant, easy paced walk along the river to a fell top hike or a longer distance themed route. The Northern Viaduct Round is a fully accessible path following the disused Stainmore Railway with viaducts and great views. Nine Standards has 9 very old & unusual cairns on Hartley Fell. Brough Castle & Ice-Cream Parlour is a stones throw away & definitely worth a visit for those with a sweet tooth. Or... simply relax in the beautifully cosy environment Westwood Barn will give you. The perfect place to switch off, wind down & relax.
