Hidden away in the small village of Haddiscoe, Willow Barn offers convenient and easy access to areas of The Norfolk Broads and to the multitude of beaches which line the East coast of Norfolk. You can find 3 different pubs and restaurants within a 2 mile radius of the property, with convenience stores available in similar distance. For further options guests have the choice to visit the charming town of Beccles which can reached within 6 miles, or the seaside town of Gorleston which is about 7 miles away. Gorleston offers a wide sandy beach, with parking close-by as well as classic seaside amenities available. The beach is great for family days out to the seaside, or simply for just a stroll up the coast. Great Yarmouth beach is reachable in similar distance and offers a further range of seaside attractions. Winterton-on-sea beach, Horsey Gap and Sea Palling are 3 other beaches also worth visitors consideration, all offering their own unique attractions and charm. The quaint town of Southwold, ever more popular amongst visitors to Norfolk over recent years, can be reached in about 35 minutes by car. There's no better way to explore The Broads than by boat, and conveniently there's options for boat hire in several different towns and villages close-by both reachable by car in around 10-minutes. The River Yare and Waveney both flow close to the property, both of which are lined by a series of towns and villages to explore, and numerous picturesque spots brimming with wildlife and nature. For those who wish to explore the fine old city of Norwich, you can drive there in around half an hour. The City offers something for everyone, with an abundance of unique and independent shopping outlets, as well as the well known high-street brands. Norwich's 12th century market is certainly worth a visit, whilst we would always recommend those new to the area to make sure they visit Norwich Cathedral and castle.
