I love this property for its central location and lovely mature garden. A lot of thought and care has gone into making the apartment a home from home. The property has been in my family since the 1940's and I am proud to continue my family's legacy. It is located in the heart of Wimbledon only 2 minutes from Wimbledon tube station and 1 minute from all the shops, cafe's and all the shopping and leisure facilities of Wimbledon but it also very quiet and has a lovely private garden.
I am in my 50's and have worked in recruitment for many years. I am a mum of two lovely children who are now grown up. I want open up my childhood family home to guests who will hopefully enjoy many lovely moments in London and in the house as I did. I lived for nearly 30 years in Italy so speak fluent Italian and also speak some French.
Wimbledon is an amazing neighbourhood. It is only 15 minutes from central London by train but has also a country village feel to it, especially Wimbledon village where you can see horse-riding and the beautiful expanse of Wimbledon Common. Of course Wimbledon is famous for the Wimbledon Tennis Championships but it a great year round destination. I feel Wimbledon has the best of both worlds. Great for sightseeing with all London sights on your doorstep and great transport links but also great for horse-riding, country walks and fantastic bike rides. Wimbledon is in one of the great districts of London. Wimbledon is also very safe and has one of the lowest crime rated in London with some tennis stars choosing to love close by
