Woodend is an idyllic and stylish cottage on the outskirts of Dumfries. You are surrounded by countryside and all living spaces look onto fields, with stunning views towards Criffel. The quiet paved patio area and garden to the rear is an ideal place to chill and relax or have a bbq and glass of bubbly. Dumfries is a 20 minute walk away and the nearest shop is only a 10 minute walkThere is a lovely cycle path only 10 minutes stroll. So you really do have the best of both worlds, countryside but pubs, restaurants and shops within easy walking distance. Beaches and forests are also close by and there are some beautiful walks and cycle routes from the cottage itself.
Hi there, my name is Dawn and I’d be delighted to welcome you to Woodend. This is a relatively new foray for me, but I’m so enjoying meeting all my guests. I am a wedding and event florist, and I love interior design. Wooded had been designed to a high standard and I hope it feels like a lovely home from home. As well as this, I love walking in the beautiful countryside and beaches we are so lucky to have on our doorstep with my lovely Labrador Willow. I live nearby and am always available should you have any questions. I have a full and detailed pack in the cottage with all the places to see and things to do in the area whilst on your stay.
Woodend is a semi detached cottage with off road parking. It is a quiet and peaceful getaway to allow you to relax. Within easy walking distance of Dumfries town centre, walking routes and cycle paths.
