We are delighted to announce that Dorset Tourism has awarded us the 2025/2026 Gold Award for the Best B&B/Guest House in Dorset. Woodland House B&B is nestled in the heart of Horton Heath, Wimborne, offering three beautifully renovated bedrooms, each with its own private en-suite. Every room is tastefully decorated to a high standard and includes tea and coffee facilities, a TV, and Wi-Fi. The rear of the property looks out over open fields, where guests can often spot local deer, owls, and birds of prey, while the front of the house faces peaceful woodland. We are committed to ensuring every guest enjoys a truly wonderful stay with us.

Living in the countryside is wonderful, and we truly appreciate the peaceful way of life. We especially enjoy watching the deer and listening to the owls. At night, we love sitting in the garden and gazing at the stars, as there is very little light pollution here. Surrounded by fields and woodlands, we take daily walks with our two dogs across the local heathland or through the woods or at the local award winning Moors Valley Country Park.

We are ideally located close to the historic town of Wimborne . Approx 25 minutes from the beaches at Bournemouth and 30 minutes from the historic port of Poole. We are just a 15 minute drive from the New Forest. Bournemouth airport is only 20 minutes by car. We are lucky enough to be 5 minutes away from the Moors Valley Country Park. We have a number of National Trust sites nearby, Brownsea Island, Corfe Castle, Kingston Lacy House and gardens to name but a few. There is ample local heathland for walking and we are ideally placed for many wonderful cycle rides.
