We are a couple at 40s with two kids. The husband is a civil engineer with great experience in old building restorations. We love design and antiques. At free time we enjoy hiking, cycling, swimming and walking in beautifull places. We really enjoy our stay at this house, it has a unique style and elegance.

The 1861 Liston boutique flat is a bright and unique house with amazing views to Spianada Square, to a part of old fortress and to the typical narrow streets of old town. It is part of one of the most characteristic Corfiot buildings dating back to the English occupation of the island. Located at Pentofanaro area, in the heart of Corfu Town’s historical center comprising a real landmark of the town. This 160 year old flat has been restored and renovated paying great respect to the history of the building and to the people who lived in it, by keeping as many of its original features as possible and by using materials and furniture compatible to its original construction. The 1861 Liston boutique flat covers the whole third floor of the building and comprises of a living room with an open kitchen, one bedroom with a king size bed, a second room with two single beds and a bathroom. Coco-mat mattresses and linen, 2 kind of pillows and a fully equipped kitchen ensures an elegant and pleasant stay.

The flat is located at Liston area. Liston is the heart of Corfu town and was built by the French in the 19th century, and home to a row of pricey cafes. Locals play cricket on the carefully tended lawns of the Spianada behind Liston area. Palace of Saints Michael and George at 100 meters from the flat was designed by the English Colonel Engineer Sir George Whitmore in style of English romantic classicism around 1814. Faliraki, Naok and Mandrakina beaches are within 5 to 10 minutes walking distance from the flat.
