We are a family-run hospitality business, and our work involves helping our guests make the most of their holidays in Halkidiki. We achieve this by providing a relaxed, discreetly, luxurious and comfortable accommodation environment, expert local advice to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding area and also access to many varied activities to get our guests off the beaten path. Such activities include sailing, hiking, cycling. Sailing is our passion and part of our everyday life. This summer we are going to offer our guests the chance to visit some of the most extraordinary spots of Halkidiki in just a daily sailing trip. We will take you to beaches that are not accessible by car away from the crowds and give you the opportunity to taste some Greek traditional dishes with a glass of wine or a beer on board, swim just off the boat to crystal clear waters, visit secluded beaches and if you are lucky you might even see the dolphins.

Alterra Vita is not just a hotel. Alterra Vita had been our family summer house for several years. Just a couple of years ago we decided to totally renovate it, leaving some of its genuine, traditional elements untouched and turn it into a cozy guesthouse in order to "export" the traditional Greek hospitality to the rest of the world. We believe we do it the right way; the Alterra Vita way. The name Alterra Vita is a play on words. It contains the latin “alter (different)”, “terra (earth)” and “vita (life)”. Living differently is the core philosophy of our business, and the earth symbolizes our affinity for nature, the stunning beauty of Chalkidiki and our love for the great outdoors. This philosophy is what allows us to offer our guests not just a comfortable and relaxing stay, but also the kind of experiences that will help make their holidays in our beautiful country the most memorable of their lives

Situated less than 70m off the Paradisos beachfront, Alterra Vita Bed and Breakfast is surrounded by numerous restaurants with traditional Greek cuisine. There is a mini market within a distance of 60m and the village is just 800m away. Other activities around include golf, tennis, water sports, boat trips etc. During off-season months (May & Oct) we offer a range of activities such as hiking, sailing, horse riding, mountain biking etc. (some of them with extra charges).
