Chrissi Island is an uninhabited island 8 miles south of Ierapetra, bordering the southern Cretan Sea. It is preserved as intense natural beauty and wildlife refuge. In summer, swamped by thousands of daily visitors who enjoy its beaches and clean waters, with dailyferries from Ierapetra.
