Hello there, I am Manos, owner and manager of CreteVillas4U. I have been in the hospitality sector long before CreteVillas4U, however. I was actually born, grew up, and spent most of my life in a hotel owned by my family. So, I guess it came as no surprise when I expressed my wish to study in Rhodes’ Tourism School and, later on, when I decided to start my own business in the sector. One thing I learned growing up in a family-run hotel is that hospitality is more than hotel management, logistics and operations. It is a culture, passing down from one generation to the next. You can study to be a hotel manager but you cannot study to be hospitable. I apply this philosophy in my business as well. The rule is simple: the guests of the villas I manage are my guests. As an active traveller, I expect nothing less myself. The fourth generation of Dafermos hoteliers has already been born. I know now that my two beautiful children will probably follow my steps, like I did before them. There is a small difference though: they are smarter, more educated, better (big smile). Spanning 250 sqm with an additional 60 sqm studio and 100 sqm of balconies, the villa boasts modern amenities including air conditioning (excluding the living room), a microwave, freezer, washing machine, satellite television, and unlimited broadband internet. The ground floor features a fully equipped kitchen and dining area with expansive balcony views. A cozy living area with fireplace, HD LED TV, and entertainment options is nestled a few steps below, along with a twin bedroom and WC/shower room. Ascending the internal staircase to the upper floor, three more bedrooms await, each equipped with air conditioning. Two bedrooms feature double beds, one with an ensuite bathroom, while the third bedroom offers twin beds and shares a jacuzzi bathroom. Quality mattresses ensure a restful sleep, complemented by private balconies offering breathtaking sea and landscape views. Outdoors, the villa offers ample entertainment, including an 80 sqm pool, deck chairs, a playground, BBQ area with seating for 10, and a basketball court. The studio, located poolside, includes a small kitchen, living area, WC/shower, double bedroom, and twin bedroom.NOTICE: Up to 9 people only the main villa with 4 bedrooms will be rented, not the apartment. Rethymnon is the capital of the prefecture of the same name. It lies between the other two large towns - Herakleion to the east (at a distance of 80 kms.) and Chania to the west (at a distance of 60 kms). Rethymnon is a blend of modern and old-time dignity and charm. It has a population of about 20,000 inhabitants and is the administrative and commercial centre of the prefecture, as well as a communications centre. It is well provided with travellers facilities and prides itself on its cultural activity and its significant presence in the general cultural life of the island, much of which is centered around the Faculty of Letters of the University of Crete, established here. Artistic events are regularly organized, as are exhibitions, plays, concerts and lectures. Rethymnon is linked by bus with the main towns and villages of the prefecture and also with Heraklion and Chania. A car is necessary for your transportation. We can also organize a transfer in order to come to the villa and the day after rental cars can be delivered at the property (extra charge).
