Aliki's apartment is in a 3-floor,family owned, bulding. In the same building you can find also Becky's apartments and Stefania's apartment who are my two daughters. It is in a quiet residential area,400 meters from two nice sandy beaches but that have no sun beds or umbrellas. The area has experienced a terrible fire in July 2018 but the houses in front of us and next to us have not been affected so the view to the sea is still nice. For the interior of the apartments light colours have been used along with with selected furnishing and fine decoration so as to create a relaxing and romantic atmosphere. It is important to mention that a bus passes in front of our building every approximately 50 minutes and connects our neighborhood not only with the nearby Mati but also with Rafina and Nea makri, where someone can find all kind of facilities, like supermarkets and banks, but also plenty of restaurants bars and coffee shops. The bus stop is at about 400 meters from our property A car would be very useful

This neigbourhood has the advantage of beeing very close to the sea but not far from the center of Athens (approx.45 minutes by bus from Rafian) So, someone can easily combine vacations by the sea side along with sight seeing and visits to the city of Athens. Apart from that, the port of Rafina is just 3km form the apartments. From this port boats leave daily for most of the Cycladic islands such as Andros,Tinos,Mykonos,Paros,Naxos and Santorini. The Athens international Airport is only 30 minutes ride from the properties. Staying in this area someone may also easily visit the archeological site of Marathon, known from the battle and the victory of Greeks towards the Persians in 490 bc. In honour of Fidipides who run 40km from Marathon to announce to the Athenians the victory of the Greeks, the world known Marathon road is established and it takes place every November. The Marathon lake is also close, with wineries open to visitors and the beautiful beach of Shinias, loved by the surfers. Finally someone could spend a day in McArthur Glenn a fantastic outlet store with plenty of shops and restaurants or visit the Attika zoo both situated in Spata about 10km from the property
