Welcome to Casa dei Maestri (The House of Teachers)! This new ground-floor renovated accommodation with secure access to the garden began operating as a hospitality space in the spring of 2023. It has retained all the traditional elements of its passage through time. It is located in the Perivolia suburb, a quiet area, very close to the centre of Rethymno (1.3km) while it is 50 meters from the main sandy beach with free private parking spots. The parking area has direct access to the Casa dei Maestri allowing the visitors to transfer easily their luggage. The highlighting of the stone element of the accommodation in combination with the modern materials used gives a friendly, family and contemporary character. The uniqueness of the accommodation is highlighted by the independence of the spaces with each bedroom having its bathroom and thus the guests maintain their discretion. The kitchen and living room are located at the front side of the house with direct access to the covered outdoor space and the apt's garden where the visitors can also enjoy lunch or drinks during the evening. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher with a dining table for six (6) people and a child's seat while in the covered outdoor space there is a dining table for four people with direct access to the parking area. The Casa dei Maestri also provides visitors with two sunbeds.

Visitors will have the possibility of direct communication either through social media and e-mail for any help they may request or for directions for touring the birthplace of values, Crete. The details will be announced after the booking. The hosts upon arrival will offer a small but warm welcome to guests.

The Casa dei Maestri is located in the Perivolia suburb, the eastern entrance to Rethymno Town. In the past, Perivolia was a settlement with very sparse houses, close to the beach. The locals cultivated their yards to produce vegetables and other local fruits. This is the reason that the area is called Perivolia (Gardens). Today it is fully integrated with Rethymno Town with comfortable streets, hotels, taverns, supermarkets, cafe-bars, travel agencies, rent-a-car companies, gyms, bakeries, pizzerias and other enterprises. It is very close to the centre of Rethymno, either from the Sofoklis Venizelou coastal street admiring the Venetian harbour and the Venetian castle while walking along the comfortable coastal promenade or via Portaliou Street which is the eastern city entrance. Rethymno town is ideal for exploring on foot, bicycles or other electric vehicles and Public Transportation. The Casa dei Maestri has easy access to both airports Chania (73 km) and Heraklion (81 km) due to its location at the main entrance of the Rethymno only 2 km from the East Interchange of Rethymno City. In addition, the apartment is only 200 meters from the bus stop to the downtown and the intercity bus stop to Heraklion town.
