Our property is a newly renovated house which back in the day was used as a place to eat and rest for people who were collecting olives and grapes from the trees around the area since the had no means of transportation back then to get back home for a short period of time. It is located on a small hill overlooking olive groves surrounded by mountains. It is a small cozy apartment with simple modern furniture combined with a few touches from the past. It consists of a front garden/parking area, a kitchen/livig room area, a bedroom , a bathroom with a shower and a back yard/garden. Having gardens on both the front and the back of the property provides our guests with shady spots at all times and plenty of fenced outdoor space for kids and pets to enjoy without the risk of getting lost. It is ideal for people who enjoy the outdoors and like hearing only the sounds of nature but still want to be a short drive away from everything they might need.

Chrysi, our host was born and raised in the area so she can provide you with insider tips and suggestions for places worth visiting around the area. She can also help you with organising trips, renting a car or even booking a transfer for you.

Super quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of a small town named kalives yet really close to anything you might need. Within 5 kilometers of our property you will be able to find quite a few beaches to choose from, a river you could walk/bike next to with a free public barbecue area you could use and eat right next to the running water, lots and lots of tavernas as well as cafeterias and bars all offering unique views of our area as well as a supermarket and plenty of local shops you could get anything you might need for your stay in Crete.
