Your hosts are Mary-Ellen, an opera singer, and Kostas an architect. Kostas designed the renovation of the apartments, while Mary-Ellen added her personal touch to decorating them. Having traveled to more than 60 countries and numerous cities between the two of us, we have firsthand experience of what a traveler is looking for when selecting accommodations. We dipped into this experience when preparing the spaces that we are now offering to you, with the hope that we can contribute to your comfort and convenience, making your stay with us, as well as your trip to Athens, a memorable one. Located near the heart of the city. The neighborhood’s people are pleasant and helpful to foreigners. The apartment is near the central square of Nea Smirni, one of the liveliest in Athens, where you can find retail shops, cafes, and restaurants during the day, as well as bars, music, and dancing for a nice evening out. The central square connects to a beautiful tree-filled park, ideal for a relaxing walk or outdoor exercise. The apartment is very near the main lines of transportation. It’s a 5-minute walk to the nearest bus stop and the tram station which will, in one direction, take you to the Acropolis, Plaka, and the city center in 15 min, while in the other direction, to the amazing coastline of Athens in 20 minutes, allowing you to easily explore the Athens Riviera. There you will find not just beautiful beaches and famous archeological sites but also the exciting year-round nightlife that Athens is famous for.
