Domus Clodia is a mansion built in the Venetian times. It belongs to the Chatziparaschos family, who is famous for the pastry fyllo they make in the old traditional way. Respecting its rich history, the Domus Clodia has been carefully renovated, retaining most of its original elements in materials and construction. Thus a beautiful mansion with 3 bedrooms,3 bathrooms, and a terrace with view of the Old Town and the Fortezza fortress was created to offer each one of you a sneak peek at the past. Domus Clodia consists of 3 different levels. Entering the property, one meets the hospitable dining table with the comfortable yet traditional-style sofa which is suitable for family meals around the table. The first room on the left-hand side there is the cozy and stylish, fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary amenities to prepare delicious retreats. On the ground floor, there is the 1st bathroom, where the washing machine is located. A wonderful decorative touch of the ground floor is Grandma's spinning wheel with the red thread, like the famous Ariadne's thread. This unique decorative element was preserved and carefully restored to give our guests a hint of our local history. Going up the first wooden stair, there is the first bedroom with the high ceiling and the queen size bed and its en-suite bathroom. Spacious, lightful, and elegant are just a few of the words that can describe it. On the same floor, one meets also the living room with the large, corner sofa, which - if required - can accommodate two more guests. Continuing the exploration, there is a semi-private study area with a desk for guests who would like to combine business with pleasure (work with vacation). Behind the desk, the small wooden stair leads up to the coziest nest, the small attic with the double bed and the discreet skylight.The 3rd bedroom is on the 2nd and last floor,with the 2 single beds which are combined together and create a large queen size bed & the roof terrace.
