I am Elina and together with my husband Nikos we are operating **Elpis Mykonos Apartments** since 2013. Our property is a traditional Mykonian building, over 300 years old, housing 4 unique private apartments for our guests. This building was our family home for many generations. In fact, it was the first hotel in Mykonos at the beginning of the 20th century, starting with just 3 rooms. This marked the beginning of tourism in Mykonos, making it a place of historical significance. **Location:** The "Elpis Mykonos Apartments" building is located right in the heart of Mykonos Town. It sits on the coast near the small church of Agios Nikolakis with its iconic blue dome, close to the Town Hall, and just a few steps away from the dock where boats depart daily to explore the historical treasures of Delos. You can’t miss the Elpis Mykonos building—it’s visible in almost all the postcards of Mykonos, easily recognizable by the label on its front. **How to Find Us:** The Mykonos Town area is pedestrian-only, so if you have a vehicle (car or scooter), you can park it at the large free parking area at the Old Port. From there, it’s just a 5-minute walk to Elpis Mykonos Apartments. The taxi station REMEZZO is just 5 walking minutes away from us. **From the port**, there is a very convenient connection that brings you just 1 minute away from our building—a small taxi boat called the **SEABUS**. During the daytime in the high season, it departs every half hour and takes you on a 15-minute boat ride, dropping you off almost right under our building. The usual cost per person is not more that a couple of euros. **From the airport**, apart from easily finding a taxi or arranging a private transfer, you also have the option of taking public buses. These buses operate from April to October, and no more that a couple of euros per person, they will bring you to Mykonos Town, stopping at the entrance of Fabrica Square. From there, it’s about a 10-minute walk to our building. Elpis Mykonos Apartments is the best place to stay in Mykonos. Literally, you’ll be living in the heart of the island, with everything just a breath away. It’s your home away from home.
