Welcome to Chania and wonderful Gavalochori!! Evaggelias Home is a beautiful and spacious maisonette of 140 sqm suitable for families or couples who want to relax in the greenness and tranquility of nature. It can accommodate comfortably from 1 to 5 people and is ideally located for those who want to make excursions in the prefecture of East Chania and Rethymnon. In the interior of Evaggelia's home we find a traditional house, recently renovated, divided into two floors with an internal staircase. At the entrance first you meet the living room and passing under the stone vault you are in the fully equipped kitchen (oven, fridge, coffee maker , a toaster, a kettle, kitchen utensils, etc.), and the main WC. From the internal staircase we climb to the upper floor.First we meet a small WC and the main bedroom which it has a chill balcony overlooking the tranquil nature and olive trees.Then we continue to the next bedroom which there are three beds, two semi-double and one single,a big closet and a baby cot. Both bedrooms have aircondition.

Nature around the village is stunning. You can take unforgettable strolls along the paths around Gavalohori, in the picturesque scenery that creates the olive trees, carob trees and the herbs of nature. Gavalohori is a place of unique beauty, where history meets tradition. In this officially protected traditional village you can visit the Arched Olive Oil Press of 17th Century, the temples of Panagia, Agios Pavlos and Agios Sergios, the very old school, many of the well-known Gavaliana wells which still standing within a fantastic landscape and of course the folklore museum that you can see the history and the culture of the village. In Gavalochori you can find Cretan tavernas with excellent traditional food, small supermarkets, bakery and cafeterias. The wonderful and organized sandy beach of Almyrida with open blue waters, many fish restaurants and many other stores is only 4 km (5'with car) far from the village. Kalyves beach which is similar to Almyrida is only 8 km far from the house. So.. I wish you great holidays!!
