Kallisto Resort in Corfu island, is family owned. The Owner, Mr. Kleomenis Barlos has begun to build just one apartment for himself and his family, believing that Corfu is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Passengers stopped and asked if the apartment could rented so the idea of building a resort in nature was born with a friendly warming atmosphere. The resort consists of two bands the first one includes Kallisto, which consists of two separate apartments, and the Ocean which consists of five apartments Tyche, Daphne, Aithra, Echo and finally Hippo. The second complex consists of four villas Poseidon, Pasiphae, Nepheli and Apollo.

Kallisto resort is conveniently located at the centre of the west cost of Corfu, just 12 kilometres form Corfu Town (Kerkyra). All of villas & apartments have a terrace or balcony with panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea and Kontogialos beach, from where you can enjoy really stunning sunsets. Then the BBQ area next to the pool is a great place of enjoyment for our guests. Our resort is the perfect starting point for all your activities, whether you want to enjoy and relax on our beaches or pools, or go shopping. Explore the rest of the island by foot or by car, enjoying the history and natural beauty of the area. There are several activities to explore around Kallisto Resorts. A short drive (~5 km) is the Corfu Club’s 18 hole golf course, a diving school and the largest waterpark on Corfu Aqualand. Corfu’s central marina in Gouvia is just 15 km from us.

Neighbourhood information

Our Resort is located on the hillside just below the lovely village of Pelekas, the access point to some of the most beautiful beaches of Corfu. Kallisto resort is conveniently located at the centre of the west cost of Corfu, just 12 kilometres form Corfu Town (Kerkyra). It is a picturesque village set on a rocky hill (272 m. high, ~500 inhabitants), the top of which according to the Corfy people says is the best place to watch the sun go down. Pelekas beach (Kontogialos) is 100-200 meters away from the villas and apartments of Kallisto. The beach has won the Blue Flag eco-label award. It is a miniature of Glyfada beach with fine sand, and in the surrounding area there are wonderful tavernas & cafes. It has sun loungers and parasols available for rent on the beach and offers good opportunities for water sports. Glyfada beach is a long sandy beach with bars open all day, hotels, restaurants and many people.
