“We liked the traditional rooms which were quite big and clean. We also enjoyed the outside area of the rooms. Staff were helpful, we came around 21.00 for checkin, however they stayed for us. It was 10 mins walk or 3-5 mins of drive to the beach.”

Koutsounari Traditional Cottages is unique by its architecture and atmosphere. Koutsounari Traditional Cottages is composed by three neighborhoods, all located in the village of Koutsounari. The main one, is close to the reception and it has preserved the characteristics of an authentic neibourhood that takes back in time. The cottages that are located in the village of Koutsounari, are described as Village Cottages and offer the same charm and cosiness. Each cottage is different from the other but they are all charming and provide privacy.
Koutsounari Traditional Cottages, was the reason that brought my family in the 80's, to this unknown part of Crete. Since then a lot have changed but the area remains beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. Once I have completed my studies in Hotel Management, I travelled a lot and worked in Cyprus. But Crete has always been "mon point faible" so in 2004, I returned in order to be part of the management team. I love Art, Design and traveling-discovering new places.
Koutsounari is a quite village overlooking the Libyan sea. Long Beach (2,5km long) is at 800ms. Nearby you can visit the Mylonas waterfalls as well as the Minoan Watertanks. Agios Ioannis a picturesque Cretan village is at 8 kms from Koutsounari.
