Welcome to Mariya Art Living! At Mariya, we love art, respect nature and adore positive people ! The owner of Mariya Art Living, Maria Bakaniari, considers herself as local, while she lives in this area-during summertime- since she was a kid. In 2018, she decided to renovate an old holiday residence and create Mariya Art Living. As an art lover and visual artist Maria, hopes to inspire her guests, offering another aspect of hospitality. "The main source of my inspiration, was the surrounding scenery, as i entangled elements and forms from underwater and ground landscape.This matching of forms, led to a combined art work (drawings on paper or canvas, sculptures and handcrafted artisanal objects ) all site specific for Mariya Art Living." Considering Mariya Art Living as something "alive", she intents to host artwork from other artist, aiming to continuously upgrade and refresh this project, that is curated from her, since the very beginning. During the summertime Maria often organizes free of charge art workshops for her guests. Adults and children can join the workshop and enjoy art and peacful moments under the olive trees! Positive and honest, with kindness and respect Maria hopes to serve you and make you feel that you are "home away from home".

Mariya art living consists of 8 fully furnished luxury apartments on a two-floor, contemporary building. Surrounded by a lush garden full of aromatic herbs, olive, and citrus trees, you immediately experience the sense of relaxation, serenity and privacy! The ground floor consists of 4 apartments, all with private verandas: One “Studio- Disability access” and three “Two-bedroom apartments 43 sqm”. Depending on our availability of the “two-bedroom apartments 43sqm” the bed options on the second bedroom might be two single beds or a double bunk bed. The first floor consists of 4 apartments with private balconies: Two “one-bedroom apartments 30 sqm” and two “Two-bedroom apartments 52 sqm”. Each apartment is uniquely decorated with fine art paintings and handcrafted artisanal objects, while keeping up with a refined ambience and effortless luxury. As all modern amenities are provided to ensure an experience of a luxurious stay, our bedrooms are fitted with high quality Istikbal beds, mattresses and pillows, as well as luxury cotton linen and premium bathroom amenities from natural ingredients. Natural materials and ecological practices, such as, wise use of water and energy, make environmental protection one of our main priorities! Enjoy your special moments under the trees which literally embrace the space and let yourself unwind with the scents of orange, lemon, and pomegranate blossoms! Mariya Art Living is located near the coastal village of Nea Skioni which is spread along the sandy coast, in the southern part of Kassandra peninsula of Chalkidiki. The surrounding area is distinguished for the lush vegetation, and it’s a perfect choice for those who feel the need for serenity, relaxation and privacy. In 60 meters from the property, you can find one of the most pristine and clear beaches of Kassandra though, the nearest organized beach with sunbeds and umbrellas, is in Nea Skioni. Long and sandy, this beach, has been awarded for many years with the blue flag. In Nea Skioni you can find everything you might need such as supermarkets,bakery,fish market, pasrty shops, tavernas, restaurants and cafeterias. In short distance from Mariya art living there are plenty of organized and sandy beaches and many other places of interest! Due to its vantage point, Mariya Art Living is in a very short distance -5,9 kilometers- from the hot springs of Agia Paraskevi (Thermal Spa of Agia Paraskevi). If you follow the route, which begins from Nea Skioni and leads through the mountain, in 8,6 kilometers you can first reach the village of Hanioti and after 3 kilometers the village of Pefkohori. For those who love adventure, the area around Mariya Art Living, is ideal for cycling, hiking, jogging, climbing, as well as, swimming, snorkeling, diving and canoeing.
