Mylopotamos Beach House used to be an old fish tavern. Today, it has two (2) separate apartments, one in the ground floor and one in the upper floor, respectively. The apartment of your stay is the one on the upper flloor. In the ground floor, me and my family members are staying during your vacation and thus I may show you the functions of the upper floor apartment. As shown in photos, the beach house is right on the beach of Mylopotamos, where there is also a small river that flows only in winter time and a wooden bridge that leads to the olive grove up the hill. *NOTE: Please bear in mind that the amount of the sand of the beach may vary from season to season due to the sea, the sidestream and the whether conditions, from sandy (resulting more day visitors) to rocky (resulting less day visitors). When the beach is rocky, extra caution and careful steps are needed to enter to the sea. *UPDATE MAY 2020 As regards the above NOTE, the current condition of the beach is rocky resulting less day visitors on the beach.

On your way to Mylopotamos, is the famous Tsagarada village (which is the closest village to Mylopotamos), where you can find ATM, tavernas and restaurants, mini-markets, coffee shops, souvenirs etc. When you reach Mylopotamos, the road ends to a free parking area and then you take the 2 minute stairway down to the beach apartment. In the parking area there are also the famous tavernas of ''Aggelika'' and ''Kritamo''. Over the house, up the hill, is a beautiful olive grove and closely is the famous Fakistra Beach, the 7th among the best 50 beaches of the world, according to Guardian (2016). Between the house and the uphill olive grove, there is also a small river that flows only in winter time. Mylopotamos has another beach within 5 minutes stairway or swim, where you can have a relaxing coffee or snak. *NOTE: Please bear in mind that the amount of the sand of the beach may vary from season to season due to the sea, the sidestream and the whether conditions, from sandy (resulting more day visitors) to rocky (resulting less day visitors). When the beach is rocky, extra caution and care is needed. *UPDATE MAY 2020 Regarding the above NOTE, the current beach condition is rocky.
