Situated on the quiet side of Almyrida village but only a few yards away from the shops, bars and tavernas and the soft sandy beach, Niriides is a lovely, family-run hotel set in private gardens with a large swimming pool and terraced area with sun beds and umbrellas. Spacious, airy and recently renovated apartments is a perfect choice for a delightful vacation on the island of Crete.

Neighbourhood information

Almyrida is a small village on the north coast of the western Crete. It is ideal for a relaxing seaside holiday, where you are surrounded by nature and just a short drive away from the airport or the city of Chania. Until recently it was just a fishermen village of 50-100 residents. Due to its wonderful Mediterranean climate, its two clear sandy beaches and its beautiful nature, the village has recently evolved into a tourist resort. Almyrida is now famous for its fish taverns and great local products, as well as its quality night-life. The natural surroundings and neighboring villages offer endless hours of trekking and exploring while there is always one or the other traditional celebration with local food, music and dances.
