A traditional house on the beach in Mikri Mantineia, Kalamata .Far from, but also close to the big city of Kalamata (10 km). You will rest and enjoy the sun and the sea. You will feel like travelling in a ship. Magnificent view of the mountain. A traditional house on the beach in Mikri Mantineia.The closest house to the sea. Far from, but also close to the big city of Kalamata (10 km). It is situated in a extraordinary spot of a very picturesque village of the Kalamata's seaside. Living there is like you are travelling in a ship. Built on a rock it is between the mountain and the sea giving a relaxing sensation of being in the nature. The beach where the house is on is safe and clean for swimming. You can even fish from the balcony. It has many amenities for a creative life there. You can stay there without having the need to visit any other place but if you want, there are a lot of places around. You can visit many historical places like Pylos, Methoni, Koroni and natural beauties like Mani with the historical towers and the beautiful beaches, even the famous Diros caves.

Day trips can easily be arranged to many historical sites - Olympia, Mystras, Monemvasia, Nafplion, Sparta, Mycenae, Epidavros, ancient Messini, Tyrinth and the temple of Epicourious Appolo in Figalia. In Kardamili , 25 km there are numerous tavernas and good tourist shops as well as the site of Ancient Kardimili with a fascinating little museum.This a popular area with walkers on way marked paths all over the Taygetos mountains. You can also explore (by boat) the famous Diros caves, about 90 minutes driving.Kalamata (10 km) is a lively, typical Mediterranean city. The old town in the north is picturesque, full of cafes, farmer's restaurants and shops selling local products. The center of the city has prestigious cafes and all kinds of modern shops. The sea front is 2.5 km long pebble beach full of cafes, bars, pizzerias, and night clubs. Walking on the sea front is a pleasure during the evenings. The town has many major super markets with all kind of products.
