Old Town Retreat is a former hotel that was purchased and fully renovated between 2022 and 2024. We have kept lots of the original features such as floor tiles, a funky bathroom suite and door handles but upgraded the important things like plumbing, electrical systems, air conditioning etc. We believe we have created a relaxed modern 'home from home' whilst furnishing it with a mixture of classic antique and modern furniture. The property has been tastefully decorated throughout with art pieces from artist such as Nick Holdsworth, Nic Joly and Mr Kuu.
the property benefits from a fantastic roof terrace that looks out over the old town to the sea and beyond to the Turkish coast, this has a 4 poster sunbed antique sofas BBQs and dining area and is available for guest use.
You enter the property through gates that keep it secure into a relaxed courtyard with seating ideal for afternoon drinks away from the heat of the Greek summer. The property is located on a quite residential street a short walk to the main attractions.
We look forward to welcoming you and making your break special, whether its an over night stay to catch a ferry early the following morning or a full holiday, we provide a cool relaxing space to call your own. We can provide lots of local information, such as places to see and recommendations for places to eat and drink.
The property is located on a quite residential street just off Pythagoras, but only a short walk from the main attractions, bars and restaurants that the Old Town has to offer. It is a 15 minute walk along the front to Elli beach with its beach clubs, and more relaxed beaches are closer, just outside the old town walls within a 5 minute walk. The main ports in Rhodes town servicing Athens, the islands and Türkiye are all within walking distance of the property.
